It was so confusing and messed up that you couldn't even figure out what was going on. I get that it was supposed to be a representation of how a mentally deficient person thinks (for the part about Benjy, anyway), but it was literally unreadable for me.
Probably one of the best novels of all time, along with Absalom, Absalom! which you would probably also hate. It is kind of a sequel, and similarly impressionistic.

Eh, I'm not a fan of Faulkner. When I read, I like interesting plots and characters and excitement. I couldn't care less about novels that are more philosophical or introspective (I do like some of them, like Asimov's books or the later Ender's Game books, but those are sci-fi).

Are you kidding me?! The later Ender's Game books were terribly long and didn't live up to the first book. Or at least, that was my opinion on them. The first one was the best, but the others, not so much.

Yeah, but everything wasn't perfect... it was a cleverly disguised dystopia.

I agree that Ender's Game was definitely the best in the series. The others didn't really live up to it, or even feel like they had much in common, but they weren't bad books, in my opinion. I enjoyed them, but not nearly as much as I enjoyed the first book. Also, there are technically two series that branch off from Ender's Game; the ones focusing on Ender, and the ones focusing on Bean (the Ender's Shadow series). I like the Ender's Shadow books better than the other books.

As for The Giver, I didn't really enjoy it too much. I didn't hate it, but I didn't really like it either. I liked Gathering Blue much more (it wasn't officially a sequel though, it's more of a companion novel). But I absolutely hated The Outsiders.

As I've seen multiple times, The Egypt Game was pretty bad. I had to read it in class in...I think it was 6th grade. Though I'm not entirely certain.

I'm also against the Twilight books. I did read all of them, yes, but I don't like the concept of sparkly vampires.

And on the Harry Potter books, I think the books were better than the movies at least...I didn't really like nor dislike them. Pretty neutral.
