Also, is there any speculation as to whether the hydrogeology rules will change much?
I like using the mobile app as a quick reference but will it come out quicker this year, ideally at the same time as the rules book? The 2016 Div B rules android app wasn't posted until October 3rd.chalker wrote:rfscoach wrote:You can buy the rule books at the SO store http://store.soinc.org/ Rules are available in early September.MysterySkye04 wrote:I have a question. When the rule book comes out, where can you buy it? I want to get one so I can see how each event is like, and I don't have to worry about getting one from my SO teacher/coach.
You can also get the mobile app version about the same time. Check out my signature below for details.
We hope so. It's really out of our hands. Apple has to approve all apps for posting, and sometimes it takes a very long time to get it approved.PHXcoach wrote:

I wasn't aware that Apple had to approve android apps too ... Google apparently approves apps much faster, so hopefully we can get the Android app quickly even if the iOS version takes longer.chalker wrote:We hope so. It's really out of our hands. No, Apple doesn't approve Android apps. And yes, the Google approval process is very quick. We just want to release them both at the same time, so we hold back the Android one waiting for the iOS one to be reviewed.PHXcoach wrote:

Currently I would expect 2017-2018.superpenguin666 wrote:Does anybody know when Keep the Heat and Thermodynamics will be back?
I can't answer the first question, but the events in the Google doc are as close as it gets, with the possible exception of the topics for each rotation.IKnowtheWrightStuff wrote:When will tentative events for 2016-2017 come out by the SciOly committee? And how accurate are the proposed events in the GoogleDoc?
