I really cherish that feeling when you see your roller coaster get crushed under a 20lb windblower over an 8-hour ride. I sure was enthralled that the driver put some pesticide sprayer on the coaster too, despite so many "Do not touch" labels. The best part was when I didn't sleep that day to remake it in time for competition. I learned that nothing is safe from huge leaf blowers and roundup pesticide.

I think my proudest moment might have been making the Varsity team in 5th grade. I probably wasn’t the best person to join in. I didn’t medal at all at my first invitational, which had 14 teams, varsity and jv combined. I got 14th place in Road Scholar at that competition. But my other proud moment was when I got 3rd at State for that same event at the end of that year! It was great.

No, you see, bandaid won Herpetology in 2009 as a 3rd grader, and now in their senior year they are back to defend their rightful title.

Last year at Nats was pretty good... Went up two events in a row for gold and then got to watch the Div B kids I spent all year coaching take first in rocks as well.

The proudest kindergarten alumnus you'll ever find.
"Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." Matthew 5:11-12

I have no regrets.
