That questions been asked/discussed many many times if you look through the topic. Anything around 1500 is very competitive at this point in the season.

Heck, you don't have to even read back through previous pages- just looking at a few posts above..... :o

962!
Woohoo!
Could have been up to 1200 but I fell susceptible to the biggest reason in messing up... I was lazy :o 8-)
My distal end fell apart on one side and it ripped everything off obviously. Next time I'll be more careful ;)

Wow! That is an awesome score. How was the competition though? Was it a big invitational with national level teams or was it jast a small regional-state invitational? (We are a small school, so don't go to invitationals so I have no idea ;) )

There were 28 teams that competed in Division B West Liberty Invitational, from at least 3 different States.. Ohio, Kentucky. and Pennsylvania. Scores probably would have been even higher, but teams were required to hand load with a small cup, which extends the loading times.

Northern Colorado Regionals
B-Div
1228.5- 12.21gr, carrying 15kg
276
249
227
The rest were below 200

C-Div
1083.7- 9.5gr carrying a little over 10kg
1075.3- 13.95 carrying 15kg
835.8
823.2- 12.39 carrying 10.2kg
557
519
287

The B-Div winner was a tube w/ single tension member.
C-Div winner was a 3-legged "tower in its side" design w/ 2 small tension members- 2nd thru 4th were tubes w/single tension member.
We were 2nd and 4th in C-. Our 4th place one had been tested to 12.5kg; we expected it to go full load; a little error in bolt hookup alignment way over-stressed the bolt connection.
