I'm supervising Maglev at our local County tournament in January, and plan to use the scoring spreadsheet from the National website. Everything seems to work correctly, except for the pulldown menu for "Incomplete runs", which incorrectly assigns run scores of 0 for all three selections. Does anyone have any idea who to contact about this?

The spreadsheet, if it's the updated one should have contact info in the lower right corner. If not bear should be around soon to look at it.

I actually created that spreadsheet (and bear checked it). The first row work correctly for me, but the subsequent ones exhibit the issue you describe. Thanks for pointing this out. I'll get a correct version posted ASAP.

Has anyone had any experience with grade 5 and/or 8 ceramic magnets?
I found this site that has information about the different grades http://www.allmagnetics.com/ceramic.htm and it seems like grade 8 is the best way to go. Is there any reason not to get grade 8 magnets?

You'll note that the primary difference is in the mechanical strength of the ceramic, not the magnetic field. For maglev use, mechanical strength is....not really an issue.

Wait, so let me get this straight. When referring to the propeller/motor dimensions on a ducted motor being limited to 6 cm or less, does this include the casing for the ducted motor? The ones I have been looking at have a slight flange at the end, where even though the fan diameter is 6.0 cm, would it be measured across the flange bringing the diameter up to say 65 mm?

Yes, the curve at the edge of the ducted fan is counted as a part of the duct, though you can often get around this by sanding/dremmeling that part off.
