i was going to do that, but then i realized that more or less all i needed (for regionals, at any rate) was in a few pages

The binder I used last year had the major info at the beginning, and then less important info further back. The info that we just keep for newcomers to the event we put in a folder or something and left in the room we meet in I believe. If not, we just put it in the far back.

This way, the stuff you will most likely have to see is close at hand.

Yeah, that's a good system. Plus, it has the added advantage that if you competition-blank on something really basic, it might still be in there.

My binder for State is completely tabbed with a table of contents. It is really easy to find info.

I was planning on doing something like that, but since I was up late the night before Regionals just making the binder neat, I never ended up actually doing it... I might fix it for States.

(Darn, I actually might have to do more studying for States... this event was almost given to someone else, but now I'm still doing it).

I would recommend it. I am going to hopefully do way better at State this year, and this year I have a better partner.
