we saw your device and it looked really good, nice work! i'm looking forward to seeing you at competitions in the future. i don't want to give out details of our device without consulting my lovely partner, but you were definitely tough competition.
Thanks!
I felt like I saw your device but I can't remember which one... Did yours happen to involve a match?
yep! our device was the tangled mess of wires. my partner was the girl with the curly hair and i'm the one with the purple. we have gnomes on our shirts

I'm going to have to try and watch your run at Westlake, Centerville, and/or Solon.
i'll be at solon, but my partner won't so i can't promise we'll be at full strength

My coach thought it was your device. My device is a mess of wires as well so that's something I hope to fix in a later version.

meh, as long as it functions i don't necessarily see an issue with it looking like a mess. does your device have a name? ours is Snezhnogorsk, idk if any other teams name their devices lol

Last year's hovercraft was named COW (or dewgong if youre into that), and I think this year I'm going to name my future mission GOAT. But, idk. He hasn't been born yet, so I have a lot of time :D

I will be at Solon ;) . And if you can manage to find me when I'm not competing or helping then I will be impressed.
Scott may be wearing a jacket with his name on it at most invitationals
Hahahaha I will be wearing a sweatshirt that has "Asher" on it too probably. If not, I'm from New Trier, kinda short, dirty blonde, medium weight, loud, probably wearing goggles from Thermo or Hover, and talkative. TBH we both will be really busy during the competition itself, so I expect we will only find each other if we are both spectating other missions, or at some point during or after the award ceremony. :D
If there is enough interest in a Scioly meet-up at Solon HS's invite, I'm sure we could identify a room to place it in, probably during the gap between the last session and awards.

I'd be interested! I'm sure a few other lurkers from Mason would be too.

And to add something on topic to mission, I saw our teams and the whole thing was grey from duct tape :?: :?: mild cause for concern perhaps

Haha, my wheeled vehicle in seventh grade was named Dragon Fruit because we were coming up with fruit names in alphabetical order and it was the fourth iteration... hence the username :D

At Sylvania Northview the event supervisor almost gave us a construction violation for attaching the lever task to the ev3 brick we where using to play the final action.

Is it illegal to, for ex, use an ev3 brick to recieve a infared signal and play the final action.

I was confused as it never stated anything in the rules about not being able to use a object in multiple actions. The only rule possible validating this would the wording "each unique action"

Thanks
