Re: Helicopters C
I've had this problem when the bottom rotor was producing more thrust than the top one. Just an idea.RyanH1999 wrote:My helicopter always turns over and flies at the ground. I don't think it is generating enough thrust to get up into the air because the rotors are only alllowed to be 20 cm. Does anyone have any tips?

Do you think making the bottom rotor smaller in diameter would help?0ddrenaline wrote:I've had this problem when the bottom rotor was producing more thrust than the top one. Re: Helicopters C
The helicopter has worked fine with our team- goes up a bit fast but stays up fine with usually two minutes. You have to release perfectly vertical or else it goes into wright stuff mode

Has anyone figured out how to get the bonus yet? I've been having trouble designing something that satisfies the bonus and stays stable while in the air.

Re: Helicopters C
Just wondering, which has given you better times: stationary top and rotating bottom or both rotating?

Yeah, I've been ordering from FFM for a long time, and this was the first season he was so inundated with requests. Back in November, my kits took more than 3wk to ship. If he's still backed-up, that's some business!JasperKota wrote:Did you get a confirmation for the order? It took around four weeks for my kit to arrive. I would suggest buying a different kit for now or try making your own helicopter just in case the FF one doesn't arrive quickly enough.HandsFreeCookieDunk wrote:I guess I'll bring this up since we're talking about the kits. Did anyone else experience crazy turnaround times for the FF kit? We ordered ours before the new year and it still hasn't arrived. I'm starting to panic because the competition is only a month away.

Re: Helicopters C
Our helicopter appears to fly alright, but it always lands with more than half of the rubberband's winds remaining. Does anyone know why this may possibly be and what could be done so that the helicopter makes use of all of its winds?
