Anyone have any tips on how to refine the prebuild? Like, how to get it to that seemingly impossible level of "Perfect." Currently I have someone else check it over but our pre-build score at States was still not perfect

Does anyone know if (or when) they post the pre-build rankings? An alumni from my school said that they usually do, and my team really wants to know how we did on the build.

yeah I'm really interested in knowing the margins as well. I know my freshman year the margin between 1st and 2nd was like 1.5 points. It was crazy

The Milwaukee School of Engineering posted pictures of Harriton High School's protein model, which won first at the National Tournament.

Actually, they did release the protein that next years topic is going to be on. Well, they mentioned it at least, on 3D molecular designs, which is not really official but they do supply the tubers.

Just to share with everyone. Here is the post about next years protein:

" The 2015-2016 challenge will focus on the sepiapterin reductase enzyme, which is needed to make neurotransmitters. A mutation in the gene that encodes this protein was identified by whole genome sequencing in 2010, leading to a molecular diagnosis and successful treatment of California twins with gene variants causing them to have life-threatening low levels of three neurotransmitters"
