On the state amphibians and reptiles test a while back, my sister was partners with someone who hadnt studied at all. He kept overriding her answers and instead put snake, turtle, or snake for the common names.

This is a Populus leaf right. I've had my fair share of dumb answers too. And writing the same answer for like 5 questions is actually a good strategy when you at least one of the questions' answer but you don't know which one. Like there was this fish fin bone labeling station for Fossils and I literally wrote radius for everything. Ended up getting the highest score (no surprise). One time my sister was like "Oh hey, that thing looks really really cute so its Smilodon when the next question said, 'This specimen was scarier than T-Rex.'"
