we placed 10th on team 2 (my team) and 8th team 1(generally, we do much better).

we place 9th at nats last year...however, we didnt even look at our binder

i am thinking of picking up this event, as i need another few to "beef up" my schedule a bit...would you recommend this event? or steer me away from it?

Well, it's a good event- certainly I like it a lot- but it might not be a great one if you just need to pick up another event (unless you're specifically looking for a hardcore study event, I guess).

Yeah, in fact, my partner from Regionals is pretty much obsessed with Crave (he's really good at physics... even though he's in 8th grade...). He has a conflict at States, and so he's torn because it's his favorite event (but he wanted to do Meteorology instead because he and his partner- pjgscioisamazing- worked together really well on that).

I don't think you should do it, unless you feel like studying a lot in a short amount of time.

An enormous binder could almost be a disadvantage because everything would be harder to find...
