what's a way to better our study guide for state? Because honestly, I really did not expect to get an award at regional for dynamic planet. Milliseconds b4, my partner and I were, no way are we gonna get anything. And then they called us and we were like 0.o
xD

Thant kinda depends on what's already on your study guide, I can't tell you if I don't know what you've got already.
And we felt the same way when we got out medal :P

Well we already have the basics. All the equations. Pretty much everything that is on the scioly website for dynamic planet. Also, is there anywhere I can find online quizzes....like things that are automatically checked by the computer? :)

I'm pretty sure it's glaciers, but don't hold me to that.

Glaciers. Oceanography was the topic before Earthquakes/Volcanoes so glaciers are next in the rotation.

Yeah, the tentative summer institute schedule confirms this: http://soinc.org/sites/default/files/up ... 0-12_0.pdf

They are basically just how input/output of water is processed through the hydrologic cycle and also how people use water pertaining to its availability. Kind of like banking(deposits and withdrawals, etc.)

I think I've already asked/mentioned this but I still don't really understand topographical maps. Like... I understand contour lines decently but like how do you identify things on one? Like seeing a random map and identifying what river it is or something. Idk, I could just use a little help/practice with them.
