I would say NW is probably the weakest region in terms of teams going to states, but that doesn't mean it's the weakest overall, and it definitely is not the weakest by far. There could be a very high amount of parity in NW (besides SC) that would give it a lot of decent teams. It just so happens that the teams that reach states tend not to do well. Nothing is "by far", however.

Also, Alpha, come on, at least decide one team or another. :P

just a prediction...
southeast regionals will be very interesting this year.. just looking at invitationals score from the ones I went to... but who knows, the patterns of the last few years could still be the same.

Also, were you at State High? If so, when? I'm an 8th grader at Mount Nittany, but I'm going to try to get on the C team next year.
Either that or they redrew the lines. I don't remember-it was too long ago, but I do remember competing when State College switched from central to NW (I think for the 08 competition?)
I did go to SC, but that was a while ago. I graduated a couple years ago, so you probably would never have any idea who I am...

I competed in both regions in high school for SC and while by far may be a stretch, there are still gaps between the regions-mostly that we scored better in NW (and medaled in every event in NW) than in central
