ohhhhh...............DARN it.......so we had this one on tornado touchdowns and deaths for the years of 2000-2010 and we couldn't find any data.......well half of it, an we forgot to make up stuff...so half of the graph was done, we graphed the data we had, .........and we got 34 out of 44....what a big fail

im never doing compute this again.....computers LITERALLY HATE me....well, knowing that putting radom data would help would have helped ME a ton......whatever...

Haha I think computers hate me too

I had a tough time to get onto the computer at State and then there was a protein modeling pic still up when we did log in.. I told my partner it was an omen, and sure enough we had the toughest time finding information!!!!

Would anyone like me to post a practice event that I made on the Wiki? Hopefully it would benefit some people.

Ok. It's really easy, in my opinion, but it'll help people improve on their speed and whatnot.
Edit: I don't have an answer key yet. Sorry.
Re-Edit: It's up. No answer key still. I'll see if I can get it up tomorrow.

Oh my gosh we couldn't find it either! But our coach says we've done the test (not the same years but same data) before and the info was on a pdf......... We just combined stuff from a bunch of websites. And 34 isn't that bad, we only got 29.

I'm really sorry if this was asked already, but will you be required on the Nationals test to use an online word processor and spreadsheet, or is it unknown?

Good timing. We just posted this information to the national website this afternoon:
http://soinc.org/node/778
At the National Tournament, an installed version of Microsoft Office 2010 (Word/Excel) will be the SW platform for word processing and charting. Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox will be available as web browsers, and teams may choose which to use. As in prior years, teams will be provided user ids, passwords, and data storage that ensure privacy and data integrity as they submit their work.

Thanks chalker! This helps a lot, my partner and I really appreciate it.
