How important are the types of goggles gonna be? I can't find them this late in the game for us!

Seconded. My biology book really helped me study for this event.

I don't think they're that important. Sometimes, you don't even use them.

Ok guys, thanks for all the help!
Yet as I study, I realise there are still alot of things to go over!
Don't worry, helping me will not deminish your chance of beating me if any of us ever face meet in the competition. My team is not going to state. We are all new, and four of the events arent being covered.
So far I am studying these things:
-Eukaryotic cell structure and organelles.
-Prokaryotic cell structure and parts.
-Different means of Eukarytoc locamotive means. (Flagella, cillia, and pseudopods.)
-Bacteria shapes
-Gram staining
-Virus identification
-Ecological uses of Microbes
-Diseases (Using the 2011 Microbe Mission disease list to identify the microbes responsible for each disease.)
-Microscope types
-Microscope parts
Is there anything else I will definitly need to know?

Kind of late, but I want some clarification on what "being tested on" means in terms of the microbial diseases list:
Now it's obvious we should know what type of pathogen causes a particular ailment, but what else?
Basic information I'm studying includes unique symptoms, frequency, and prognosis. If they wanted to, however, they could theoretically ask for specific taxons, risk factors, and treatments. For example, would they ask for treatment of tuberculosis, and expect you to reply, "drug regimes and surgery"?
Essentially, I want to know how much we need to memorize/record-on-notesheet about the listed diseases for regionals.
<Syphilis is my favorite, by the way. Just putting that out there.>

Yes, the symptoms and treatment for the deseases will definitly be needed.
what else?

I've actually never had to use them yet.

You may also want to know the name of the microbe that causes the disease (Such as: Botulism is commonly caused by
Clostridium botulinum)

Hi! This is my first year doing Microbe Mission. What stuff should I put on my cheat sheet?

There's no way this is all I need to know! I already studied the basics for half the list in 5 hours!!! No, am I not looking deep enough into each of the items on the list?

So far, all the MM tests I took have been completely different.
You might want to look up the graphs and bacteria growth curves too.
