I have seen a 20ish (I think it was 18.5) second Coney from the team I am coaching

I have been getting around 15-16 with winds and snow. We still have a few more weeks till regionals to perfect our rockets.

My best time is about 7.5 seconds, and it was on the first backslider I made that actually worked. In addition, please may someone explain what the Barrowman Center of Pressure (something that I read about while doing research) is along with its importance in building a working backslider.

The Center of Pressure (CP) is used to make balanceing a rocket easier.
You want the Center of Pressure to be a bit behind of the Center of Mass (CM) to get the best sliding. The only way I know how to find the CP is to use Barrowmans equation which with a little number play will return your backsliders CP Guide on Calculating CP
