Our regional judges were pretty lax about gesturing and even speaking... I started laughing and stuff (yeah, we didn't practice much... :oops:) while I was drawing, and they let it slide.

the ones i had were kinda easy, electron, invertebrate, gills. Stuff like that

How many of those did you get right? Ours were like dormant volcano, ionic bond, and fission.

We got "scientific method" and "big bang theory", but not "amphibian".

Has anyone drawn a heart in competition? Did they consider it a symbol?

yeah you can totally use a "heart". We do it all the time.

At our regionals I drew two circles connected with a line to symbolize "bond" and then drew a salt shaker for sodium chloride, to lead to "ionic bond" overall. The supervisor, however, didn't allow it. Does this follow the rules?

We use it a lot too, but i just wanted to ask so that if it was a "symbol" it wouldn't ruin all out plans haha
