Our regional judges were pretty lax about gesturing and even speaking... I started laughing and stuff (yeah, we didn't practice much... :oops:) while I was drawing, and they let it slide.

the ones i had were kinda easy, electron, invertebrate, gills. Stuff like that

How many of those did you get right? Ours were like dormant volcano, ionic bond, and fission.

Has anyone drawn a heart in competition? Did they consider it a symbol?

yeah you can totally use a "heart". We do it all the time.

At our regionals I drew two circles connected with a line to symbolize "bond" and then drew a salt shaker for sodium chloride, to lead to "ionic bond" overall. The supervisor, however, didn't allow it. Does this follow the rules?
