Re: Scioly Assassination 103: Murder by Death
Shocked by the death of one of their leaders, the townspeople of Rocket City bicker and argue. Some are outraged, saying that killing them is against the rules. "What rules?" I laugh as I leave my home in Rocket City, situated in the San Luis Valley. When I stop in Hooper to get a drink, I take out my binoculars and look out at the mountains to the right, then drive on. Eventually I get to this A-something city and head left onto another highway. As the hours go by winding through mountains and forests and finally grassland and plains, I notice the grass and sky appear to take on a slightly duller appearance, as if they are turning grey. Probably just my eyes though. Hours pass, and come afternoon I reach this town called Yates. A strange name, but I don't stick around to find out where it originates from. Instead, I head north until I reach a pair of lakes, one on either side. I drive my car into the one on the right and go for a swim the complex on the northeast side of the lake my destination.

Twin lakes is near Santa Cruz, CA, which is where I am right now. However, I don't remember mentioning it except on chat. Only bear and balsa were online at the time. And bear found out because he looked at my IP address.

eh, why not, I guess i'll pop out of retirement for the time being, especially on a geography based clue! Lets see here...
There is a Hooper, CO in the San Luis valley. Betcha that's the one sassy means. mountains on the right....well, technically they are on either side in the google street view, but you'd probably need binoculars to see the ones on the right if you were oriented south, so I assume sassy is heading south...
Ok, the first A-something city I hit is Alamosa, so down the other highway for a while...
grey? hmmm....not sure what that means. I'm on state route 160...ok now state route 54, so i wonder if that passes through a town called Yates...
oh, well what a Coinky-dink, it passes though Yates center, KS. heading north...
two big lakes, and a complex in the north east. I think that must be it. Looks like it's called the Wolf Creek Generation Station, the only nuclear plant in Kansas. located on the northeast side of Coffey County lake.
Not sure if this is self clue or kill clue, so ill just leave this here. happy times!
