Re: New York 2009
To my knowledge, there is not a bonus team from the Adirondack Region this year. The three listed (Plattsburgh, Potsdam, and Watertown) are the only three that appear to be headed to West Point. For those interested, a brief article on the competition.

Re: New York 2009
I have Roxbury as 4th from Capitol District, with a bonus team missing, does it mean that there is no bonus this year?

Re: New York 2009
Capital only had 18 teams at the competition, which should mean that they get three teams plus a bonus. I think registered teams who don't show up count towards total number of teams, though, so if they had two no-shows then Roxbury could be 4th. But doesn't Columbia or Niskayuna always win? They should get a bonus, so I bet that it is Roxbury.

Pretty sure you need 20 teams to send 3. Less than 20 and you'd only send 2.Flavorflav wrote:Capital only had 18 teams at the competition, which should mean that they get three teams plus a bonus. Yes, I think you are right - momentary lapse of reason (or at least arithmetic) on my part. So they must have had a couple of no shows, and Roxbury is the Bonus.
Still nothing from Southern Tier? I looked at the State site to see if they would post there, but they still have the list of events up - from last year. Last updated in '07.

Re: New York 2009
Hey, what do you have from Mid Hudson? I was just looking at their scoresheet and it looks like they are sending four teams, but the fourth and fifth place teams tied in points (as did the second and third - wierd). I think the tiebreaker is supposed to be # of golds. On that basis, it should be Spackenkill, Kingston, Goshen, and Ketcham; John Jay should not make States. Is that what you have?Sheogorath wrote:I have Roxbury as 4th from Capitol District, with a bonus team missing, does it mean that there is no bonus this year?
