Our team only gets Friday off, we leave on Thursday right after school and we stay at a hotel in State College. We usually arrive really late that Friday, at about 11, but last year the bus broke down on 80 and we had to wait for two hours for another bus. We ended up getting home at 2 in the morning. It was exciting though.

You don't usually have a chartered bus?

How can you go for four hours in a school bus?

You guys have a charter bus every year?

We always have to go in a school bus (and it's not a good school bus either). Last year it wasn't even from our own school district! Plus it's a three hour drive, it's not like we're less than an hour away.

Jeez.
Do you at least stop sometime on the way to use the bathroom? The chartered bus is nice, but I thought that everyone that travels at least three hours would have one.

Thinking about it now, I'm not sure how long it is, but it's at least 2.5 hours. I don't think we stop, everyone uses the bathroom before we board the bus. Same thing once we arrive at the hotel.

Our bus ride is four hours. Obviously, there is a bathroom as it is a charter bus. It's kind of crowded because both the middle school and the high school share the bus to states. I don't think I could survive on a school bus for all that time, I had no idea how lucky we are.

Well, I guess if the ride was four hours, we would stop on the way to go to the bathroom and to eat dinner, but somehow I don't see our school district giving us a charter bus.

we usually get charter busses, but its a 5 1/2 hr. ride 2 invitaionals, + a 3/4 hr ride to States. We used to have to share w/ the high school, until a couple years ago where now we have too many people + 2 teams can't fit on the bus.
