mhm. Well this is also based on what I would do, and since I'm not going to nationals apparently what I would do isn't always correct ^.^lakersfan2012 wrote:That is true, but Troy got 6th (i believe) in helicopter. Otherwise I've only heard of 2-3 chinooks around 2:00.
So far I've heard of more great coaxials (~3:00) than chinooks.

Re: Duration
Well.
Knowing that California has a known 2:25 time, and that time I'm going to assume will be upped before nationals, and knowing that other states may also have impressive ones that weren't mentioned on this forum, I'd say a 2:40 time not including bonus will be king pin at nationals.
Note: this is entirely speculation.

I remember how last year I had my flight at States and then checked out the Heli forum, and was supprized to hear from some random guy for a different state how he has heard that top team in NY (us) got a 3+ minute helicopter. In reality, the flight was only 2:25. Thats what happens on Scioly often times, rumors, rumors ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)

so thats why everything is speculation. Its what I would think given the information is true- which we don't always know is so

before or after the 3x bonus? If before, that's crazy good, if after, it's still really good for a chinook.danyalukin wrote:New personal record of 2:40 w/ chinook in the gym.

Must be before, based on his previous comment about getting 2:10 without the bonus. Phew, that's intense.thsom wrote:before or after the 3x bonus? If before, that's crazy good, if after, it's still really good for a chinook.danyalukin wrote:New personal record of 2:40 w/ chinook in the gym.

Re: Duration
Maybe I might, even though it wouldn't be worth much compared to danyalukin's. It's not like I have anything to lose...
So you may or may not see in the near-ish future my chinook in the image gallery as an example of what not to do![Rolling Eyes ](./images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif)
