I don't think so, but I wouldn't rule them out entirely. Just remember that they can't count. *shot* As for my predictions, I think Olathe North\East could do well, as well as you guys, us, and Maize. I'm most worried about Maize and St. James, though. I bet we'll beat Collegiate, but Maize? Nah.

I hope it was a joke, considering we get up at three in the morning and take a bus to your invitational. Ah, best morning of the year...
TheGenius wrote:I'm too paranoid to do that.
That's probably a good thing, actually. And stop being so funny.
zyzzyva98 wrote:I think we'll have two. It'd be a shame to drop to one after so many years of two.

As for state, I think it will be a close race between the top three in the Wichita and NE regions- it really is anyone's game at this point. Luck is so much of a factor, you really can't decide on who's going to win.
Agreed. I hope we have two, and your state predictions seem quite close to mine.

Its gonna be a bummer if we only have one because we have so many developing young, new, super competitive teams, we should definitely have 2 go to nats

Plus, having two increases the chances that Kapaun gets to go to state. It'd be so awesome to go this year, considering this is my first year on the regional\state team. But I'll worry about state before I start thinking anymore about nats.

If you look at the scores from the Thunder Invite, East was there all along. I was a bit surprised at how well they did today, however.

As for us, we had some bad breaks. Like WIDI, as I described earlier. In fact, in all of my events I could identify a critical error I made that could have given us first, each easily remedied. Anything from the test itself to just grabbing the wrong materials.

What do you mean, where did OE come from? They did significantly better than North did last year.
Hopefully, other states' team count have decreased as well so that Kansas can have two teams go to Nationals.
