I see what you're saying, but your comparison is off. In the case of the ticket, it's known that it is against the law to speed. What we're debating isn't whether or not we should be penalized for using x, but whether it's against the rules in the first place. Which I think it isn't. Unless you've had experience with getting points off for that, in which case I guess it might be.

Colors matter, especially shades. When I write, I usually write the color of the piece to clarify, just in case there are similar shapes. For example, if you use K'nex pieces, it's easier to understand if you say blue snowflake instead of half snowflake with a big outlet, or something like that. Also, if you're using sticks, it's easier to just write the color instead of the length. Writing in color is just easier and faster, not to mention less confusing.

I write it and my partner walks in when it's right in front of me and i go LIV! WHAT'S WRONG WITH U?! She says "Oh oops" Then walks closer to it! Then I usually flick her...

i have a question. in regionals me and my partners made it perfectly. and we still didnt get first? how do they determine winer if there is a tybreaker? i firs thought it was time but then i was the first one finish. so how...?

It's time. Either you didn't do it perfectly, you didn't finish first, or you got penalized on the writing part.

Yeah, I know. But I've heard that colors sometimes don't matter and in that case they give different colors to the builder. So tan you shouldn't use color.

Hmm, I have actually never heard of that. Is that allowed? It doesn't say anything about building the objects except that the builder will attempt to recreate it. You can't possibly recreate it if the pieces are different colors right? I think you should include the colors because the colors will probably stay the same.

Does anyone have any advice on writing how to bend or twist pipe cleaners? I'm having a really difficult time with those
