check some dynamic planet resources too, they overlap

I'm glad I'm in both
- how do confined aquifers get recharged?

Through a gap in the confining layer or from a far-off recharge source.

Is there any difference between a confining layer and an impermeable layer? My definitions of them seem confusingly similar.

An impermeable layer is a layer that water cannot pass through or cannot pass through at sufficient amounts in general. A confining layer is any impermeable layer that confines an aquifer. The difference is subtle but it is there.

The confining layer is
confining something, that probably being a permable layer giving you a confined aquifer. An impermeable layer doesn't have to confine anything; it could be sitting there surrounded by permeable layers.

Is the event supervisor supposed to ask you questions about your aquifer or are you supposed to get a list of concepts and read off of it? I was a bit confused at the two invitationals we went to, because they did it differently both times.

You get a list of concepts at station 3, which you demonstrate to the judges. If you have time at the end, the judges ask you questions.
I'll miss aquifers. I was only able to compete in it once before my division B run ended.

But don't count on the supervisor covering you at Station 4...like, at Regionals, Varsity didn't get questions, but our JV team did. Inconsistency like that is strange.
FueL- same here. You could always go back to your B team and coach it...
