im doing a non back glider rocket but so far we have only got 3.5 seconds and we go to competition on Saturday

1st year here. When they provide launcher and water. Do they have the pump or compressor? Also do I need anything special for the bottle to attach to their launcher?

Um..... if it isn't backslider, your rocket is doomed to somewhat fail epically.

The pump or compressor depends on the competition most regionals and states will have a compressor most likely
and as long as you are using a standard bottle with the required neck size (i think it states that in the rules) you should be fine

If you can get a glider working really well you have a chance at doing well i just have seen that gliders are hard to build and get to launch in one piece

ok we go to competition tomorrow and the rockets that we are taking get 8 seconds and 10 seconds

actually we got up to 10 seconds with out a backslider
