I know people have been discussing slings, but does anyone have any good sources on how to make the pouch that holds the projectile? or what shape roughly to make that?

The projectiles have to be in 20-60 range, therefore I want to test a 20,30,40,50, and 60 gram options. I know that a racquetball will work for the 40 gram option. A tennis ball is around 60 grams so that works for that. But I have no idea what to do for the 20, 30, and 50 options, can anybody help me? Thank you

Find rubber bouncy balls (or others) that are a little less than required. add layers of duct tape until it is up to the weight you want.

For a projectile? Yep, that would work, would they most likely use it? Probably not, I just went to an invite and they used there hacky sacks, then blue/yellow/red ones.

It's a thin leather, I'll take pictures of it this week.

Mine too is a thin leathery type material tied with kite string to the eye and nail. What I've found is that there's no magical "this is how the sling should be", rather the only way you'll find a working combination of sling material, string length, and pin angle is through hours of trial, error, blood, and tears. Good luck!

For this event, my partner and I built a floating arm trebuchet and are having trouble with the pin on our floating arm. What did you use for it ?(;
