Question for the assassinator:

The self clue with the broken image and stuff, can that clue by itself lead to you? Or is it a stepping stone, and we need more to find your identity? I can't figure out what to do next, and I'm wondering if there is no solid answer to this...

wow....i just noticed I had mixed up the pad and the text when I was messing with it

EDIT: I think I might know how the pad is supposed to go....Uruguay is in group A and had the most # of points (of the group A's listed), Portugal is in group G and has the least number of points of the group g's listed. So you just go dwon from group A organizing by points within the groups
now to figure out the message...if im right of course

EDIT: I've got nothing and I've done quite a bit to it...the answers probably right in front of my face but....

I suppose it's commence officers protecting each other since I don't think any of us have a valid clue related reason to protect ourselves (idaho might but....).
I protect croman because it has enough letters to spell cromandies and I don't think any other officers name works like that

though I get the feeling the target may be a non officer like zyzzva random or robodude

already suggested that. i don't think the assassinator would mess up on the shade of green (would they?)

I snuck into the Brazilian quarters late at night and tripped on Kaka's outstretched arm. As I fell on my face, IdahoSciGuy saw me and the gun in my hand. "I knew it was you. You just hate me for what we did to your team in the quarterfinals in Asia." *selfclue*

IdahoSciGuy attempted to run, but I thought fast and lobbed a ball at Fabiano. Fabiano's offensive instinct ensured that even in his sleep, his foot went into a bicycle and struck IdahoSciGuy in the temple as he passed. IdahoSciGuy fell to the ground, dead.

EDIT: To robodude: If you wanted to be sketchy, you could figure it out off of that one clue. However, that would be a weak connection, and vague.

Also, if this game is not over by Wednesday 7/7, I will have to end it (in a draw? Or if I kill 3 officers, I win? If not, I lose?).

For this reason, stop saving accusations, and start solving clues.
