Re: Compute This B
yah, but you must put on your answer sheet where you got your info from, and you must use the exact URLjaydinwars wrote:yea but i found the #'s on the website so, so far i think that umm is somewhat helpful
Everyone does, but first you need to ask a more specific question. Do you need help with research, Excell, Google, what?Am I Smart wrote:i need help i want to bring home a medal!!!
Read this thread, it really does help. Also, check out the [wiki][/wiki], which has all the info you will ever need, or check out the Compute This Wiki. Then, if you still have a question, ask, but don't just say "I need help." The better your question, the better the answers.

Re: Compute This B
If you think you know SOMETHING, try taking a sample test, found on the Wiki, or...somewhere else. Practice at home...get help from your coach. But what EXACTLY do you think you need help with?Am I Smart wrote:i need help i want to bring home a medal!!!

Re: Compute This B
Also, explore the nasa domain and explore different methods of searching allll that material... It may be boring but it really helps! And a lot of the test is pretty hard, it's better to be resourceful than just studying a lot and hoping you get lucky. The team that wins is usually the one that gets all the info, even if it's not just from the domain given. I've gotten 3rd in this event in NJ, so I know a little somethingtclme_elmo wrote:If you think you know SOMETHING, try taking a sample test, found on the Wiki, or...somewhere else. Re: Compute This B
You should probably find yourself typing "www.nasa.gov" in the address bar without thinking. I still do that for USGS from last year. Also, make a link list to post on a website (within rules, of course) so you can get to certain parts of the NASA faster. Finally, my partner says NASA's search engine is... below average, so try experimenting with other search engines to see which results you like best, but remember all results must be from the domain NASA.gov.

and remember websites can only offer limited help, because you have absolutely no idea what the exact topic you're going to get will be. If you do make a website, post more generic pages with links to lots of data
