I haven't been asked about polio, but for a question on polio they would probably just give you the symptoms and have you give the disease. I know, sounds like it should be Disease Detectives.

Actually a bunch of teachers at my school are being fired at the end of the year because of budget cuts.

Was it the Northridge invite? We usuallly go to that one but decided not to go this year because it is such a hassle.

the diagrams i've seen show that there are two extensor carpi radialis muscles, the longus and the brevis. which one does the list mean? it doesn't specify.

I would guess it refers to both, although I'm submitting a clarification just in case. I'll let everyone know what the response is.

I'm a little confused at what specifically we need to know about all the diseases...like, characteristics, symptoms, preventions, treatments...etc...not exactly positive.

go on the wiki really good info there
also it says u need to know characteristics and radiological features from cell to whole body
that means u need to be able to indentify what like a disc herniation or something looks like on a x-ray
treatments and preventions are for nationals only but u can still study them
u do need to know symptoms though
webmd.com is a really good website for diseases

It says in any form from any source, so yes.

These tips have probably been added, but:
- For muscle locations, I recommend buying something like SparkCharts and just adding it to your sheet. That's exactly what we did and it works fine.
- However, bones are easy enough to memorize.
- Brushing up on Latin prefixes/suffixes should be helpful as well.
- If your school has an anatomy book, use it.

The rule book says to know the major muscles of the body. Does that mean that they will only ask us on the 2010 Major Muscles List or that the muscles on the List are included?

Anatomy: 1st
Science Crime Busters: 5th
Bio-Process Lab: 5th
