Man I wish we had full results, that sure is frustrating. Those are some interesting Division B results from Lake. I'll comment about them later.
Now guys, obviously there is excitement from the past weekend coming into the forums. However, in order to be fair and show respect for all of the teams, I suggest we refrain from the full fledged predictions until every regional has passed (the last one is on March 23rd).
Also, when doing predictions, please keep in mind that there are extremely talented people on every team in every division who are very passionate about Science Olympiad. Please be respectful in the manner in which we predict, that way anyone can come to this forum and feel welcomed. I know it's easy to see schools as just names, but behind every school name is a whole team of hard working people. So let's not have this get away from us.
Now trust me, I'm also very pumped to predict how State this year will play out. And yes, this weekend was a huge weekend and it indicates many things for State. I'm still going to wait until the last Regional because I want to give every team, including the ones at the three remaining regionals, a fair analysis regardless of how good they may be (Btw, I'm not saying I largely disagree with any predictions yet posted . . .) So yea, that's what I'm going to do. Feel free to check out my predictions in two weeks.

Eyyy thanks man! Yep I've moved on

but I'm still helping my team out with building events (3D printing, ect.). Hence, that's why I'm still active in these forums. And yes thank you for the good luck charm to my old team, they'll need it (Not because they're bad, but there's only 3 bids at Oakton with 4 Top 20 teams last year. It will be a
nailbiter).

Why thank you, I'll send them your good luck!
And btw, the good thing about being a member of the
"Grad Division" (for lack of a better term) is that you can volunteer at competitions! So there is actually a good possibility that you may or may not see me at state . . .
I'm totally volunteering at state in case it wasn't obvious

The thing is that some of the regionals tests that we took were definitely not up to the par than at the state level, so the overly dominant results seen at some of the regionals may still be unrepresentative of how state will turn out.
