Somewhat to that effect, I think next year it may be worthwhile to either move posts that are not results to their own state threads, or have some sort of central state tournament discussion thread, so that this thread does not get as cluttered and it is easier to find the actual results.

Yes, we could lock it, effectively creating something like that. We could also do a thing where we have a Results thread open to all posting, and when someone posts the results of a tournament, that post gets copied/moved to the locked thread.

This was actually how the thread used to be when it was first created, in 2013.
