Will the Reach for the Stars test have the lines running through the constellations? I have been told that it is more about seasons than constellations. Will it say the bordering constellations? Send me some links Please!!!! Thank you!

It really depends on who writes the test. Some do it differently than others.

In Georgia, tests have mostly been on unlabelled star charts (no lines, no names) or image based tests of both the DSO's and photographs of the constellations in the night sky. What state are you in?

For us we have an inflatable star dome where we have to identify the stars and constellations, usually without the lines. Then we have the written test for all the classifications and evolution, etc.

What is Wien's law? What is Planck's law? And how are they related to Reach for the Stars?

I don't thikn you would have to know anything like that for Reach. You might, just to be safe, but probably not.

They might give you an unlabeled star chart and ask you what object is at a certain Right Ascension and Declination, or ask you to right down the RA and D of the object.

Random questions, learn some things that aren't on the list. No planetarium means you might have a coordinator who doesn't understand the event.
Good lUck.
