not all state competitions are done, I think some states including PA and TX still have theirs.

I think TX was last weekend. Anybody getting consistently over 1500?

I think the number of people consistently over 1500 is definitely in double digits. However, I think the number of people over 1700 is less than 10, and that the number over 2000 could be counted on one hand. So yes - lots of people are consistently getting over 1500.

Double digits in the entire nation or a state?
I'm almost certain it's only PA and MI left.

Double digits in the nation. Probably less than 20, but in the teens. That's my guess, at least. Don't worry - PA won't have more than 10 over 1500. In fact, I'd bet that 1500 would be top 3 in either division for PA. Bridges has been an event with a lot of bunching at the top, especially in PA, which hasn't been so good for bridges this year. At SE regionals, you only needed like 800 in C division to medal. I wouldn't be surprised if, even at States, anything 1,000+ medalled.
Only a few days now. We'll see!

So if you get over 1700 you can medal at nats?

That's my prediction at least, yes. Part of that is because a lot of people who have beat that 1700 mark won't be coming to nationals - I know of at least 5 teams that could make that score that won't be there. Even at least one of the 2000+ bridges won't be there...

So for B, what efficiency would it take to medal in the event?

If it's states, I'm guessing above 1000 should get you a medal. Nationals, I'm guessing around 1800 and above.
