Re: Scores B/C
I actually don't know the following scores, but I do know that purely from design and joints none of the others could be over 2000.

Oh, unless you meant the weight of our bridge, which is around 5 grams.

Re: Scores B/C
(If at any point I seem harsh, sorry. AP week is coming up in a few weeks)
Do read what I said before you accuse me of being a liar.
I'm referring to our practice bridges. Now, if you want to talk about official scores, sure, we got 2200 (not full load, which btw, still killed your bridge scores). How'd we get 500 points lower? We used the exact same bridge that got 2750. So...our mistake.
Besides, what should I care? I'm a grad at this point with no incentive to lie. For god's sake, this past weekend at the Odyssey of the Mind States Tournament, my school set a NJ record and the second ever highest weight held in OM history at 1435 lbs for towers (and currently, all three of our teams have the highest weight held in the nation). I don't need to "lie" for others to see how awesome we are at structures.

This discussion is not productive. This is not place to bring accusations, they only bring about problems.

Re: Scores B/C
Depends. What division are you? For Division C, it appears so. For Division B, you might need a little bit higher based on scores other people posted.

Re: Scores B/C
Are you getting efficiencies of ~3300 for division C?? If so, well done.hi im andrew wrote:For division C, I'm worried that on the way to nats its going to warp horribly
It should not "warp horribly". Build a day or two before departure, pack it up safely, maybe add some silica for excess moisture absorption, and then the rest is up to your actual design.

Re: Scores B/C
I'm getting higher, but the crux of my design needs everything to be perfectly angled and pre-stressed, and i don't know if there will be any serious humidity change between my state and Nebraska, and thank you for your kind words.

What state are you in?
