Go on google and search "fibula and tibia" and get a picture that lables the feautures on the bones and study them.

Well I'm from NY, and did the event last year at the state competition. Definitely know the "National Only" information, as there is a definite chance that the event writer will pull that out. Other than that just know your stuff, states will be more in-depth. In the case of last year, I did anatomy at all 3 levels of competition (regionals, states and nats) and states was the hardest event, with nationals being not THAT difficult. SO definitely know as muhc as you can, seeing as itwill be harder than regionals
I'm pretty sure that there wasn't any "National Only" stuff on last year's NYS test.

This is my first year, so I don't know how hard the tests are, but I'm making a study guide much like yours... I hope it works!

Do we have to know about other systems besides the circulatory system and the skeletal system?

I have... at ours (Massachusetts) they had stations. They didn't ask national level thigns...
For the skeletal system they had a skeleton with tabs on it and we had to identify the bones and types of joints the tabs were on
we also had to do things about fragments and osteoporosis.
For the circulatory system we had to do math for the cadiac output and things like that. We also had to lable the heart, types of blood, arteries and veins and more stuff i just cant remember

Hmm, I seem to remember a little, well maybe my memory is failing me  But even the rest of the event was tough and stressful... My partner and I thought we failed, but we did end up getting second
