This is my first year in Scioly. I am doing Crave the Wave, and my event partner thinks that there should be almost nothing in the binder. I think there should be tons, but you should also know the basics and more. Do you think we should have a lot...yes or no?

I'm not doing this event, but I know from other events, you want as much as you can get. Even if you think you know the topic really well, just put info on it in your binder. You never know when you're mind will go blank.

from what i remember it was harder and longer, i didnt have time to finish it

State was much harder than Regional last year. As I recall we ended up placing 8th.

no, not lots, but not nothing either you want just enough to be able to look tings up that u dont know.

My partner had EVERYTHING in the binder, so I narrowed it down and made it easier to find stuff... Then it turned out that there were a couple really basic things that neither of us could remember in the competition because we were so busy remembering more complicated things. I felt kind of sheepish for having taken stuff like that out, until I realized that what we needed hadn't been in there in the first place
