My team takes 1.5 days off. The Thursday before states, we leave right before lunch. We eat on the bus. We arrive at our motel in about four hours. On Friday, we leave as soon as our bus comes. Last year and the year before, the bus took FOREVER to get over to the gym area and pick us up. I'm not sure how they organize it but I think they need to think of a new plan for people who have to drive accross the state to get home.binary010101 wrote:We take two days off to get there. my team does the same thing as you, eyeball. and the people competing get out of morning classes to "study", which usually means putting off studying till the bus ride. and i so wish we could charter helciopters, that would be cool. crabnebula, we might push a certain coach out of it, if u know what i mean....

oh, back 2 the helicopter idea... unfortunately it would cost WAYYYY 2 much..... considering invitaionals cost, like, a lot. no helicopter
