When we go, if we get the money, we'll go to Atlanta on Sunday after the competition and go to some places. It's not like we're just gonna take off during the competition or anything.

blu we mite get to go see the atlanta braves possibly if we get more sponsers but so far we havent gotten more i dnt think

By the way, everyone try to bring lots of keychains to nats, i like collecting them =).
Hey, do B and C have the swap meet at the same time? It would be cool to meet a lot of the B people on this forum at nats =)

I wish we could make it to nats. I would get to meet you guys! But I don't think we'll make it to nats. We'll get a lot closer this year than last year, but I doubt we'll make it.

i think you can get a view of the place the swap meet will be held in from the national site (the augusta site, not soinc)

I could see a bunch of us going around during the swap meet and saying, "Are you on scioly? OMG!! You are? I'm (insert username)! What's yours? OMG!! Are you serious??" LOL

There is one big swap meet for both B and C. With around 120 teams, it's quite easy to get lost. It's probably the best social opportunity to meet other teams outside competition (and there's free ice cream). You also get good loot, if you take the time to walk all around, trade frequently (don't hold on to stuff too long unless it's really good), and use smart bartering skills (but don't rip people off). T-shirts, frisbees, key chains, and license plates are all in the mix. Don't forget about the cool sombreros or racing bags.

What if we try to get a Scioly.org swap stand going (someone could volunteer to make a sign) besides the regular state stands? It would be pretty interesting to see fellow members in person.

I love the swap meet, but since our school decided that they only wanna give us enough money for a hotel and a bus ride (a 16 hour bus ride, mind you, instead of a plane), swap meet stuff is gonna be hard to come by. So dont be surprised if one of the NY teams has post cards and stickers.
But bring all your keychains, I love collecting swap meet keychains =).
