I just realized that all the Avogadro results online let you compare raw scores.
That's exactly why Avogadro's been wonderful so far. Nobody make the mistake I did, though, and sit on that site for more then 15/20 minutes analyzing...that time is better used studying.
The numbers on top correspond to the event categories on the national site (technology, life science, whatever) If you forget, you can click on the Event Info link (if I recall) and get the list real fast. Eventually, you'll just know which events are where.. Click on an event, and you can see the school, rank, students names THIS I don't like. I mean, it's a cool idea, but...should it really be public?, and raw score. Something with a .01 difference seems to be a tiebreaker Yep, that's standard..

That was a lot more intense than I'd expected - we were afraid for a second that Naperville North maybe, just maybe, may have beat us! (We ended up beating them 74 to 100, though). They're definitely a lot stronger than in years past, however. Who had IMSA at their regionals? Anyone know how they did?

I think I'll detail the individual events I took in their respective forums. I heard in general many were a lot easier than what we had taken in our invitational, though. Some were not very competitive, others highly.

Either way, what I remember is
1. Naperville Central
2. Naperville North
3. Hinsdale Central

I had imsa...and yes, they made it to state..i forgot their exact ranking... sorry... but they did pretty good!

3. Dynamic Planet used last year's test subject and ended up like a trial event

That. That was irritating. This person clearly didn't read the rules.
Some other coaches (I guess it could've been the same person) did come this morning grossly unprepared...I heard horror stories of ones yelling across the hall at their students after they came late. How professional

61pts 1st place...they choked in WIDI and Experimental Design.

Hawthorn South didn't do so hot...I guess they weren't too good after all. .

dang! 61 points!! we were off from 3rd with only 5 POINTS! and i guess south isn't as good as us we got like 76??
