sandwich picks are like a cross between toothpicks and popsicle sticks. They are the size of popsicle sticks, but are pointy in one end.

I don't think you would be able to use those, just like you can't use those straws with the spoon on the end that you eat slushies with. I wouldn't take the chance of bringing them in.

We won state in Iowa with a catapult that launched 6cm under 2 meters and it hit 5 times in a row. nobody else even got a shot to the plate so we had like 15x the person in 2nds score and thats the first time we ever even made the catapult wed never practiced it

we used a 2 different kinds of plastic golf balls

any ideas for improving catapult accuracy. ours launches 14ft, but extremely inaccurate.

Sigh.. It makes me a little sad sometimes when people post things in FEET instead of METRES.

I'm only joking. Would people just try to post there results in metres instead of feet?

Well technically they should be in milimeters.
Feet is more standard in America and we all know how far it is
Accuracy is key in this event. Even if you have the distance but know accuracy you won't win.
Well my bouncer bounces a little over 0.00085227273 miles and is 110% consistent 99% of the time

No it is actually 4.5-5 feet not a meter.
The Architect: 4.5 - 5 feet = 1.3716 - 1.524 meters
I don't get how the bouncer is this tough for all of you. What distances are you getting?
