Airco2020 wrote: March 11th, 2020, 1:45 pm Any word on COD regional?
I think COD is far enough away that COVID-19 has little affect in that region. The reason they canceled those regionals is due to the COVID-19 presence in Cook County.
From what I've heard from a friend at UIC, some kid literally brought it into a CPS on Tuesday, and now 4 CPS are closed because of it. It has now gone out into the suburbs with a couple in Arlington Heights and 2 in McHenry and Kane County.
Here is an updated map of all the cases so far recorded (or at least released to the press).

The Southern Illinois Regional has also been cancelled. I feel really bad for the teams from the two regionals :?

I guess it's not just a presence in cook county. Is there a presence in St. Clair and Madison County as well? There must be . . .

Ok. So one of two things will happen. ISO cancels state now. Or they will wait until April to see what the situation is like. I'm leaning more towards option 1 since Nats is canceled.
