Umm... yah...
If its on the sonic.org or scioly.org sites or in the rules then its true. But the sonic.org site is the official science olympiad site.
You are only allowed to use the nasa.gov domain to get your information from, but you can make your own site to hold links and stuff.
If you don't site the nasa.gov domain then you get points taken off.
Like I said, if its in the rules, then its right.

Just look at the nasa.gov site... Its pretty well organized. you should be able to navigate smoothly. Go check it out.
Or, you could use Goolge, but don't forget that you must get your info from the nasa.gov domain, so use "site:www.nasa.gov [query]" to limit the results to that site.
Or, another option, make your own site that holds links and stuff, then you won't have to do any searching.
But your best bet is to just learn your way around the NASA page.

Correction, you can get your information from anywhere, but if the website you credit is not in the NASA domain, you will not receive credit.

You get counted off.
Either way, the point remains the same: using something other than NASA is not to your advantage.
While what you say is true, it is getting a bit technical, and I was saying that as a general statement.

Hey! I wasn't thinking straight, and I learned my lesson!
Don't try to fool me with the invisitext ;)

But yes, I can say from first hand experiences that the judges don't like it when you use Wikipedia as a source.

The only site that you are allowed to use for sources without getting counted off is the www.nasa.gov site, no exeptions. Everything you need is on the NASA website.
For more info, visit the Compute This Wiki. Most all your questions should be answered there.
