Re: Ornithology B/C
If anyone wants to see how PA states were rune (and why I was complaining about the birds being on their backs), take a look at the first 5 images here:
http://projects.juniata.edu/scioly/paco ... index.html
And no, I'm not in any of those pictures.

Re: Ornithology B/C
Are you in any of the later pictures?
I find it cool that you have real specimens, but I wish you could move them around to get a better vantage point. I assume it's difficult to ID a bird's belly.
Overall, I find taxidermy cool, but I have an obsession with dead things (fossils, TAKE A LOOK AT MY USERNAME).

Yeah, I wish we could have gotten better angles, but we weren't allowed to touch them.

Re: Ornithology B/C
Kestrel, do you by any chance know if the test questions (or at least the specimens) were the same for B and C?
Also, I see my middle school's Ornithology team in one of those pictures, and they do not look happy.

Re: Ornithology B/C
adsfak;dkfj I got 6th.
Okay, I'm not complaining. I guess I deserve it anyway.
But ughhhhhhhhhh.
Anyway~ because the birds were upside down, I kept having to tilt my head upside down in an awkward position.

Re: Ornithology B/C
I'm pretty sure they were, since we've already established that the calls were the same. Maybe the questions were different, I don't know.AlphaTauri wrote:Kestrel, do you by any chance know if the test questions (or at least the specimens) were the same for B and C?

Re: Ornithology B/C
I think so too, they had to match silhouettes, bird feet types, and they had the question about the guy famous for studying bird habits. Probably same birds to ID too, since it probably wasn't practical to change the specimens for the next Division.amerikestrel wrote:I'm pretty sure they were, since we've already established that the calls were the same.
