Hey guys! I'm really sorry about not being around lately, life got a bit hectic. The clue ends in about 3 hours, is there anyone else we should protect? I agree that the person most likely does Road Scholar, but we've only protected 2 people. Although Fanglin does seem correct.

What's that? Why it's the sound of people talking! Ladies and Gentlemen, you have survived to intermission. Sadly CTMSRoadScholarKING did not. You were so close my dear officers, but not close enough.

I can not kill anyone else until the show starts again which gives you a little break. That said, you are not free to mill about and do nothing. I have a little reward for your hard work. An ID clue. Yes, you read that right. I am giving you a clue towards my identity. If you solve it you win, if not we keep playing.

I thought long and hard about how to create this clue and in the end I settled on the following image. Although I fear it may be too easy, I hope it satisfies your needs.

Hmmm if it's not a distorted image (though I think it is) it could possibly some kind of waterstream or something else that's hued differently than the original?

Can't find that when searching Google either. Does anyone have photoshop to un-ripple the image?

Also, how long is intermission?

My guess is that it is 48 hours. An ID clue is still a clue and rule 6 says:

6. Each clue will last 48 hours, after which I will kill.

To me it looks like the darker part of the image is a separate picture layered underneath. I don't think that we'll be able to un-distort it. That said there are people in this world who are amazing at Photoshop and may be able to do it.
