I took the Bearden Invasive Species test today. It was extremely straightforward. You had to have the information then you would've done well.

I don't know about you guys, but I was expecting a totally different list for this event. Virtually no invasive species from the southwest are on there, which is a shame, and what ever happened to invasive mammals? Well time to get down and dirty with the air potato I guess. :| Does anyone here know if Arizona has extra species? It appears they don't from their website but I don't know if that information is available someplace else.

Thanks.

Hi friends! Question: Do you think I should put in my binder all of the classifications of the species? (Like for example, having the K P C O F G S for every specimen?)

I don't think that's necessary, but you can do it if you have extra room I suppose

I'm sticking with a 2 inch because most competitions run this as stations and a smaller binder means better mobility

Don't do that. Its a waste of paper. Although you may want to information for the major classes, families, etc (like Scyphozoa).Doing so will help you understand the reproduction and general anatomy of the more specific species.

Also rules specify only classification to the level of the list (binomial nomenclature)

Can you specify which section you are referring to? I looked at the rules and I do not see any mention of a specific classification level.

It says in 3.d "to the level indicated on the official list", which is probably where they got the binomial nomenclature from.
