I guess so. Key word "was," but I see your point.

This goes back to the discussion of ST and posting scores. I think it is a big concern when a region doesn't post its scores. It is inconsistent with the spirit of SO. It raises questions about why a region does not view its scores as public when all the other regions post their data. Just like in science, It's questionable when you don't produce the data. What are they hiding? Even if the answer is nothing, it is troubling that they don't share the data.

I think it isn't the end of the world if they don't post them, though it is odd and they should. I don't know the coordinators, but I guess if you are really worried you could go ask Harold Miller or some supervisor to try to figure out what's going on? Sometimes people are busy or something, but I'm not the person running their tournament. I would also like to point out, they do send the score sheets, they just don't post them online. Casey said this (unless I misread). They really aren't hiding that much when any team from that region could tell you what they got from the sounds of it. So they do "produce and share data" from my point of view.
B: Crave the Wave, Environmental Chemistry, Robo-Cross, Meteo, Phys Sci Lab, Solar System, DyPlan (E and V), Shock Value
C: Microbe Mission, DyPlan (Fresh Waters), Fermi Questions, GeoMaps, Grav Vehicle, Scrambler, Rocks, Astro
Grad: Writing Tests/Supervising (NY/MI)

I agree with this. The Div. B Southern Tier page still says TBA, and I believe they had their regional yesterday.

It isn't the end of the world, but it really shouldn't take too much time to post scores online. It shouldn't be our (the students) responsibility to do this.
And yes, they sent a scoresheet to every participating team. But if they can do that, it would be extremely easy to just post it on the newyorkscioly.org page.
They produce, but they barely share. Sharing with the participating teams so they can see how they did is only partially sharing. I'm most likely the only active scioly member from the Southern Tier (besides my teammates). You wouldn't know who won or even qualified for states if no one form the Southern Tier was here.

I don't know where I'm going with this. I just think all regional results should be posted online as a general policy.

Congratulations to everyone who had Regionals yesterday! I had such a good time at ELI, it's always such a nicely run tournament. I met a lot of people from different schools, and had a lot of fun. Good luck to everyone as they prepare for states!

Do you now how many teams compete and was there a spread? Do you have totals for each team? I don't think they ever post their scores.

Hello. Does anyone know if the room numbers for the NY State Competition are posted? I can't find them on the website anywhere. Thanks!
