So this is some sort of fiery "e". It seems to be part of a set of letters that come up when you search "fiery English alphabet".

So, what we know about the current clue is that it is: _________ apple e or ________ fruit e. Officers should probably protect now, since the clue expires in under 4 hours. TheGenius, I think that you should protect yourself since the font for the e in the clue reminds me of the font in your avatar, and Apple Inc. is a major electronics manufacturer (Your avatar looks like it deals with electronics.).

While searching for 'Rainsford' on Google, there were three major things that came up.
By Rainsford, the sassy is either referring to-
1. Rainsford Island
2. Charles Rainsford
3. Edward Rainsford

The clue could be targetting ThePrudentGuava, because her avatar is a skull, and Lazarus was resurected from the dead.

As well as Rainsford, if you count him as "dead" when he
jumped off the cliff, making Zaroff thinking him to have drowned, and later showing up in Zaroff's bedroom.
