We have not received the spreadsheet of results yet, I'm guessing it was really close based on the awards ceremony.
This is what I do know.
Division B:
1st Wilmington
2nd
3rd
4th Laurel
Division C
1st Wilmington
2nd Seneca
3rd North Clarion (I think?)
4th Laurel
If anyone can fill in the gaps that'd be great, it was hard to hear and it was pretty exciting at the end there!

Whoa.
1. Central East is going to be a bloodbath this year.
2. Out of curiosity... why Central East? By my Google Maps calculations, Central and Northeast are closer. Also, State College goes to Central.
Also, good luck to everyone competing at SW tomorrow! Let us know what happens, since I don't think your region has a website.

We finally got results for NW Division B. They are still going over scores for Division C because it was so close.
1st Wilmington - 83
2nd North Clarion - 106
3rd Clarion - 114
4th Laurel - 118
These 4 teams are going to states.
North East (who was 2nd last year) got a 120 - super close competition!!!

Wait, didn't they have the scores for the awards ceremony? How could they announce the top teams without them? What would happen if they find a mistake, do they revoke the 4th place team's spot? Sorry, I'm just a little confused right now.
Also, do you know how many teams competed for B Division, and C once you find out?

Yes, that is exactly what they do. They did that at States a few years back when Penncrest was originally 3rd but after checking the scores they were actually 2nd. That also happened last year in KS and another state. That is why at most award ceremonies they say the results are not final until they post the scores. Usually scores are separated enough that one mistake might not matter but if it is only a couple of points they need to review the scores more carefully.

Oh... now that I think about it, I think that happened in NE for B Division a couple years ago with Experimental Design. Makes sense now, thanks.
