I had the flu last year at states. My parents drove me to my events, and once I was done with my events, drove me back home. I could barely stand. But I went anyway!

i have never been to a state competion where i wasnt sick or hurt. it has ranged from sprained wrists to the flu and throwing up. i dont mind though because we have been to nationals 7 years in a row and being sick is a good luck charm in an ironic short of way

When you get sick but go to school anyway so you can be at the scioly meeting.
